What, Who, Why, and other Pertinent Details
semitransient.com is the personal portfolio of Jeeyun Kim, a designer, a dreamer, an idealist, and a pixel-pusher with a predilection for wandering. I grew up in a small town in Virginia, moved from there to Boston to get my degree in Architectural Design from MIT, traveled to South Korea to explore the homeland, moved back to the States to graduate with an M.Arch from UPenn's School of Design, and now find myself, ineffably, in Houston, TX. At some point there was a semester abroad in London, a month in Mexico City, and a summer as a camp counselor in which I had the singular honor of giving the awkward "Congratulations, You are Now Officially a Woman" Talk to one of my young charges. Ahem. I crochet, consume vast quantities of media, and spend an inordinate amount of time brooding over some combination of the following: existential crises, Lars von Trier, socialism, where I can find a good beer, the Trolley Problem, Wayne Coyne, and why puns are so fantastic.
