The poor eponymous character of this graphic developed as a submission for Threadless, an online t-shirt design community. The design did not get past the preliminary rounds, but I still have a fondness for the graphic and keep it around just in case I find a use for her. I had originally named it "Dreams of Squid Girl," and it became quickly apparent that she wasn't squid-like enough for that moniker. Laziness ensued and after a few feeble attempts at finding a more appropriate title, nothing else stuck and she was doomed to remain as her ill-fitting name forever.
