One of my studios took a two-week long road trip through New Mexico and to a remote town in the northern part of Mexico. We saw many a ruin, the Very Large Array—which was yes, Very Cool—cacti, a sudden concentration of hippies in Santa Fe, and vast expanses of glorious terrain. Surprisingly no one was injured or lost in the process.
